The charts
Billions of dollars raised by AI companies each week. Bars above $30B are cut off at the red break mark, with the real figure printed on top, so ordinary weeks stay readable. The highlighted bar is the latest week.
The percentage of every venture dollar tracked that went to AI companies. The dashed red line is 50%.
Solid bars are AI companies funded that week; outlines are all companies funded.

How the tracker works
Every week the show pulls all venture rounds announced that week from Crunchbase and separates the AI companies from the rest. “AI funding” is the money raised by AI companies; “share of all venture dollars” is AI funding divided by every round in the export. Weeks are numbered in the order they were tracked, starting in October 2025, and a week’s report goes deeper on its biggest rounds and what they say about where the money is going.
Big rounds get checked against the companies’ own announcements. When a round is only reported by the press, or the company’s figure differs from Crunchbase, the week’s report says so.
